We secure quality domestic and international intellectual property to construct basic data to efficiently perform patent examination and judgment business, enhance data quality and promote administrative trust through modification of errors in the intellectual property data existing across the entire process of patent administration and contribute to setting reasonable policy directions and creating various added values by providing intellectual property data with high values for utilization for both domestically and internationally.

Control data quality
We analyze Korean Intellectual Property Office intellectual property data and preventing errors through judgment normality/error, correcting errors and analyzing error patterns

Obtain overseas data and construct a database
We collect intellectual property data of international institutions including IP5, and constructing databases such as Korean Intellectual Property Office Search System KIPRIS (Public Search System) and KOMPASS (Examiner Search System)

Provide data (Domestic and international institutions)
We provide intellectual property source data for domestic and overseas intellectual property offices to expand utilization of Korean patents

Apply and distribute international standard data formula
We distribute the data held by the Korean Intellectual Property Office processed into international standard data formula (XML form) to facilitate international exchange and for private use
